Lindsay Lohan's father arrested, accused in altercation with girlfriend
Lindsay Lohan's father was arrested by the L.A. Sheriff's Department after he allegedly got into an altercation with his girlfriend.
The incident occurred Monday night at Santa Monica and San Vicente boulevards in West Hollywood.
Michael Lohan, who has appeared in court to support his daughter as she faces felony theft charges, is to appear on the reality TV show "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."
The Sheriff's Department did not immediately release details. Sgt. John Ratto was quoted by the Associated Press, City News Service and People magazine as saying that Lohan allegedly held his girlfriend against her will and prevented her from calling authorities. She suffered minor injuries.
Lohan was is custody with bail set at $200,000, Ratto said.

The 'nut' does not fall too far from tree...
We know the past history of 'dad'. If you have watched any past shows or interviews with 'mom', "my daughter is just a normal young woman"...and of course, 'little miss perfect', Lindsay...the whole family needs a large 'net' thrown over them.

I was at a meeting in that very neighborhood last night, too bad I missed this little spectacle. But Michael lives nearby and I always see him outside his condo bldg, pacing in the yard and screaming into the cell phone. I figure he is advising Lindsey on how to live with dignity.

Wow…Michael Lohan is mean and vicious. I didn’t know he was like that. I hope they put him on jail and throw away the key and if Kate if even thinks about going back to him after this she deserves what he gives her.
