Crime alerts for Manchester Square, Cheviot Hills and 13 other L.A. neighborhoods
Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 15 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.
Thirteen neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Manchester Square (A) was the most unusual, recording eight reports compared with a weekly average of 3.1 over the last three months.
Cheviot Hills (N) topped the list of two neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 10 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 2.9 over the last three months.
Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for March 12–March 18, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
