Earthquakes reported near Big Bear, Julian

Earthquakes occurred near Big Bear and Julian on Thursday.

One of the quakes occurred at 12:05 p.m. about eight miles from Julian and about 42 miles from San Diego. It measured 3.0 in magnitude.

The other earthquake occurred at 12:23 p.m. about 24 miles northeast of Big Bear City. It registered 3.4 in magnitude.

There were no reports of damage in either quake.
