3.2 magnitude earthquake shakes California-Nevada border

A magnitude 3.2 earthquake shook an area of the California-Nevada border about 37 miles north of Reno, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

Shaking was considered light to moderate, according to the USGS's shakemap. Shaking was focused in and around the Plumas National Forest.

The epicenter was east of Doyle, Calif., in Lassen County, which has a population of 1,175 and is just east of U.S. 395.
