Zsa Zsa Gabor to be released from hospital

February 4, 2011 | 12:33 pm

Zsazsa Zsa Zsa Gabor is scheduled to be released from the hospital Friday night after being treated for infection in her lungs and amputated leg.

The 93-year-old actress responded well, and doctors are allowing her to return to her Bel-Air mansion, said her husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt. She is scheduled to be released at 7 p.m.

Von Anhalt had Gabor rushed to UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Westwood on Tuesday for suspected internal bleeding. He was admitted to the same hospital Wednesday after collapsing in an elevator while visiting his wife.

Gabor publicist John Blanchette said Von Anhalt collapsed because of stress; he was released Thursday.

Gabor’s right leg was amputated two weeks ago because of poor blood circulation and a large ulcerated area on the leg.
