1 dead, 1 officer injured after East Hollywood shooting, LAPD says

One person was killed and an officer was injured Saturday morning after a shooting in East Hollywood, Los Angeles police said.

The shooting occurred about 9:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of N. Westmoreland Avenue, Officer Tenesha Dobine said.

No other information was given.
