Lindsay Lohan arrives at courthouse for hearing on stolen necklace case
Actress Lindsay Lohan arrived at the Airport Courthouse on Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m., right on time for her scheduled appearance for a hearing on allegations that she stole a necklace from a Venice jewelry store.
Lohan arrived in a black SUV wearing ivory pants and a black blouse -- far more conservative attire than the tight-white knit dress she wore for her last court appearance.
Authorities had lined police tape on either side of the courthouse's back door, creating a cordoned-off walkway for the actress. About 40 paparazzi stood ready by the concrete walkway and nine television trucks parked nearby. In the air, a chopper for KTLA followed Lohan's drive from the Venice home where she is living to the courthouse.
On the ninth floor outside Judge Keith L. Schwartz's courtroom, a satellite relay was set up to send a signal to the parking lot below.
The judge is expected to set a date for the preliminary hearing. It was unclear whether a deal was in the works for Lohan to avoid jail time or be sent back to rehab.

If this was Joe Schmo , he would have been rotting in jail.
However we are talking about a Two Tiered Justice System.
A hypocrite corrupt system that needs to be rebuilt from the ground's up.

Hey LA Times, can you aspire to be a serious newspaper and therefore not have LL on the front page everytime something happens?

"In the air, a chopper for KTLA followed Lohan's drive from the Venice home where she is living to the courthouse."
Yeah, it woke me and my neighbors up this morning, sitting over my house for 20 minutes -- really loud, shaking the foundation. Thanks, KTLA. We understand if there's a bombing or something serious going on...but you had to make that Bataan Death March in the sky from Venice to the courthouse because...? Screw you.

Please....we basically have one paper in this backwater....do you HAVE to keep putting this girl in the lead story and front page? The rest of the world is laughing (and no...they are not just jealous....like so many LA residents like to proclaim...they are laughing at us)

Don't you just love, a PARADE? How many deputies does she require for her Court? Another judge on Hollywierd's PAYROLL, perhaps?
