Crime alerts for Reseda, Mar Vista and four other L.A. neighborhoods
Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in six L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.
Five neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Reseda (A) recorded 10 reports compared with a weekly average of 4.4 over the last three months.
Mar Vista (F) was the lone neighborhood with a property-crime alert. It recorded 15 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 10.5 over the last three months.
Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for Feb. 5–11, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
