Government offices, banks and schools closed for Presidents Day

Today is Presidents Day. The following schedule is in effect:

Government: City, county, state and federal offices are closed.
Mail: There is no delivery; post offices are closed.
Libraries: Most are closed, including the Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills systems.
Banks: Most are closed.
Schools: Public campuses are closed.
Public transit: MTA buses, Metro Rail and Metrolink lines offer regular weekday service. Foothill Transit is running limited routes. A full list is available online at FoothillTransit.org, or call (800) 743-3463.
Trash collection: The city of Los Angeles maintains regular pickup schedules.
