Bell corruption hearings resume: live updates

The first in a series of preliminary hearings for current and former city of Bell officials charged with corruption and misappropriation of public funds resumes Tuesday morning.

The six defendants in the first hearing include councilmembers Oscar Hernandez, Teresa Jacobo and George Mirabal, and former councilmembers Luis Artiga, George Cole and Victor Bello. They are charged with collecting salaries for meetings that never occurred or only lasted a few minutes.

May God Help Them...and the truth should set you free...

Until the D A charges Randy Adams - the former police chief and close personal friend of "HONEST" Steve Cooley - this prosecution is nothing but a smoke screen.

I hope its a speedy trial followed by a total liquidation of these jokers assets to pay back the city!!

I knew that Velez guy was a liar. And he wants to be re-elected? NO WAY!!!
