4.1 earthquake rattles San Jose, surrounding area

A magnitude 4.1 earthquake rattled San Jose and the surrounding area Friday afternoon.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake hit about 4:10 p.m. The epicenter was about 13 miles southeast of downtown San Jose.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
