Now the sad part is the LA District Attorney has to promise the Mexican Government they will not seek the death penalty against this cockroach.

He isn't a mexican national so they don't have to.

Amazing! The Times not only identified a suspect by name, but even printed his picture! How can that be? Has the policy changed? Isn't there a risk that the public may make "unfair assumptions" about certain groups? Or is reporting the facts now a priority?

If the policy has been changed, I request the editors to surface what's going on. This policy affects the public interest, and the public has a right to know.

Life in prison for a 20 year old baby-killer is worse than execution. He will live with this in his thoughts the rest of his life and never see a single day of freedom. I am glad they caught this bastard.

Doesn't matter, now that we have Kamala Harris there is not going to be anymore death sentences carried out anyways.

Good going Cali, thanks for electing Harris.

IT WOULD BE CHEAPER FOR TAXPAYERS TO HAVE MEXICO PUT THIS LOSER IN THEIR PRISON. MEXICO PRISONS ARE KNOWN TO BE FILTY WHICH REDUCE LIFE SPAM

Anyone capable of killing a 10 month old baby is below human. This "man" should be put to death.

it's very sad!...a 20 years old loving father turn into a "killer" do we know for a fact if he really did it? no, we don't know yet! I am so sorry for the littel girl! as a human been IT HURT SO MUCH! I'll suggest... lets wait to hear his side of the story... maybe not only he is guilty of this tragedy!!!

P.C.

yea maybe he didn't do it....maybe the little girl just committed suicide.....

wake up and smell the coffee!

Hmmm...there's an idea, a country actually seeking to bring home its criminals. Reciprocation Mexico? Please?

No mention as to his legal status in the U.S.? Wouldn't want the public to get any "wrong" ideas now would we?
