LAPD seeks leads on missing San Fernando Valley boy [Updated]

Los Angeles police Tuesday were looking for a 12-year-old Panorama City boy who disappeared after leaving school. Christopher Alfaro

Christopher Alfaro attended classes Monday at Vista Middle School and left sometime during the day, but he never returned home, police said.

[Updated at 7:44 p.m.: Police said the boy was found unharmed and returned to his family.]

The boy does not have a history of running away, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers have not found any signs of foul play.

Christopher is 5 feet 2 inches tall, 105 pounds with a thin build.
