January 25, 2011 | 12:14 am

A police pursuit that covered several cities in the San Gabriel Valley ended late Monday with the suspect crashing into another car.

The suspect was taken into custody, and the condition of driver he hit was not known. The dramatic crash was broadcast live on KCAL Channel 9, which reported that the victim was "completely unresponsive."

The pursuit began in Pasadena and moved through Azusa, Industry, West Covina, Walnut and other communities. At one point, the suspect stopped and officers tried to talk him out of his vehicle. But then he started driving again.

His car plowed into the driver side of the victim's car a few minutes later in Covina.
