Former Dodger Milton Bradley arrested after allegedly threatening woman [Updated]
Former Dodger outfielder Milton Bradley was arrested Tuesday for allegedly making threats against a woman, police said.
Bradley was taken into custody about 10 a.m. in the 5300 block of Oak Park Court in Encino, the Los Angeles Police Department said. The identity of the woman or details of the alleged threats were not released.
Bradley was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats at the Van Nuys jail, where he was released Tuesday evening after posting $50,000 bail, said Officer Karen Rayner.
In November 2004, Bradley was arrested after he allegedly confronted a police officer during a traffic stop in Ohio.
The Dodgers traded Bradley to the Oakland A's in 2005 after he threw a plastic water bottle toward fans at Dodger Stadium and had a clubhouse confrontation with former Times reporter Jason Reid.
[Corrected at 8:25 p.m.: A previous version of this post said Bradley played this past season for the Texas Rangers. He played with the Seattle Mariners.]

Didn't Bradley play this past season for Seattle Mariners??...Texas Rangers in '08, Cubs in '09

Badly written. Did he make threats AT the Van Nuys jail? Unlikely. The sentence should read:
Accused of making criminal threats, Bradley was booked at the Van Nuys jail, where he was released Tuesday evening after posting $50,000 bail, said Officer Karen Rayner.

"Bradley played this past season for the Texas Rangers, who lost to the San Francisco Giants in the World Series."
Texas Rangers (2008)
Chicago Cubs (2009)
Seattle Mariners (2010–present)
He played for the Mariners. Incorrect comment

yo seriously, get your facts right. He was a Mariner this year. Rangers weren't even his last team. Not too difficult to take 3 seconds to look what team he was on.

"Bradley played this past season for the Texas Rangers, who lost to the San Francisco Giants in the World Series."
Nice reporting again L.A. Times! Milton Bradley last played for the Rangers in 2008. In fact, he's played with both the Cubs and the Mariners since then. It's fact-checking like this that have made this newpaper largely irrelevant!

Milton Bradley played last year for the Seattle Mariners. He did not play for the Texas Rangers last year. The year before Milton Bradley played for the Chicago Cubs.

nice reporting. bradley played for the mariners all last year. the cubs the year before that. the rangers before then. stay classy LA.

Bradley played for Seattle last year, not Texas. It's mis-information like that which has to make you wonder if what you're reading is fact or fiction. It would have been very easy to check that fact before publishing it but getting the story out was more important than anything else, right?

Geeez, doesnt anyone do fact checking for these blurbs... Milton Bradley played for Seattle last season...

Uh, you guys might need to update your files. Milton Bradley is a Mariner. Played in Seattle all last year. Hasn't been a Ranger since 2008. Nice try, though.

It might be helpful to know that Milton Bradley hasn't played with the Texas Rangers since the 2008 season and actually played for the Seattle Mariners last year.
