Leonardo DiCaprio attacker sentenced to two years in prison
A woman accused of slashing actor Leonardo DiCaprio's face with a glass during a 2005 party in the Hollywood Hills was sentenced Tuesday to two years in state prison.
Aretha Wilson, 40, a former model, is expected to receive 330 days credit for time served in Los Angeles County jail.
In November, she pleaded no contest in case. After the June 17, 2005, attack the actor had to get 17 stitches in his face and ear.
Witness Eustace Hicks testified during a hearing earlier this year that he and DiCaprio were leaving the party with another friend when Wilson began cursing at the friend before striking DiCaprio with a wine glass.
Wilson fled to Canada after the incident, officials said.

"Leonardo DiCaprio attacker sentenced to two years in prison"
Oh, at first glance, I thought DiCaprio got two years for the horrible movies he's been doing.

Why slash him? Did he provoke the attack? NOt that he deserved slashing but it doesn't make any sense...

What a scary thing. She should have gotten more time for sure.
@Olden_Atwoody saying "Oh, at first glance, I thought DiCaprio got two years for the horrible movies he's been doing," isn't funny. How would you like it being out and having your face slashed? That is terrifying. Besides you say "horrible movies." What? This year's highly rated Inception, Scorsese's last 3 films Shutter Island, The Aviator, Gangs of New York. There is also Revolutionary Road, Catch Me if You Can, and Blood Diamond. Not sure where your giant list of "horrible" films is coming from. Funny how people can just talk trash about someone else's career as if criticizing makes them look better.
