Hit-and-run driver kills pedestrian in Marina del Rey
Los Angeles police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a female pedestrian in Marina del Rey early Wednesday morning.
The woman, 48, whose identity had not yet been released pending notification of her relatives, was crossing the street at Culver and Jefferson boulevards shortly before 2 a.m. when the vehicle, heading east on Culver, struck her and the driver left the scene, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said.
The woman was pronounced dead at a local hospital, officials said. The LAPD's West Traffic Division is investigating.

Turn yourself in. There are so many people who loved Brigitte. You may have been able to save her life, had you at least called 911. Instead you left her in the street to die. Do something right. Give some closure to a senseless death of a beautiful young woman.
