Fire guts commercial building in Tustin

Fire1 Photo: Fire2Orange City Fire Battalion Chief Chris Boyd, above, directs his firefighters while a five-alarm fire engulfs a two-story, 50,000-square-foot office building in the 17000 block of Irvine Boulveard in Tustin. About 100 firefighters from several Orange County fire agencies responded to the fire that broke out at 7:30 a.m. At one point the fire was so intense that firefighters shifted from an interior attack to a defensive mode and poured water from the perimeter.
