Upland crash
At least one person was killed Thursday evening in a fiery, multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound 210 Freeway in Upland, authorities said.

The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. near San Antonio Avenue, a few miles east of the Los Angeles-San Bernardino county line. At least half a dozen vehicles were involved, including a big rig that caught on fire, the California Highway Patrol said.

Traffic was backed up for miles in both directions. The westbound lanes reopened late in the evening but the eastbound lanes are expected to remain closed until early Friday.
