2-year-old girl is found dead in Compton

Sky 5 above house where 2-year-old girl was found unresponsive

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department homicide detectives Friday were investigating the death of a 2-year-old girl in Compton.

The girl, whose name was not released, was found dead at 3:46 p.m. in the 500 block of Crane Street, near Alondra Boulevard, said Deputy Mark Pope.

The cause of death has not been determined. Pope said no other details were available.
