$75,000 reward offered in Glassell Park double murder
A $75,000 reward is being offered in a gang-related double murder in Glassell Park, Los Angeles police said Wednesday.
Brothers Jose Martinez, 24, and Samuel Martinez, 20, were killed at about 12:50 a.m. Sept. 25 in the 2900 block of Division Street, near San Fernando Road.
Both were shot once and died at the scene, officials said. Marvin Gonzalez, 19, also was shot but survived.
The men were heading to a liquor store when they were approached by several suspects who asked about their gang affiliations. Apparently not satisfied with the answers, the suspects opened fire, police said.
Police said the victims were not gang members.
Anyone with information is asked to call Northeast area homicide detectives at (213) 847-4261. On nights and weekends, call 1-877-LAPD-247.

it's time for more patrols in this area-- and time for an injunction against the CRAPVENUES! this is a great area for gentrification but those low lives need to be cleaned out...target the parents/houses just like they did for la Perra Leon.
