Water main breaks in Canoga Park, flooding street for several blocks

A 12-inch water main broke Tuesday night in Canoga Park, sending torrents of water along several blocks of Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

Crews were responding to fix the broken line south of Sherman Way, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power said. It was unclear how much water had spilled onto the street.

No other details were available.
