Twitter fury unleashed after stunt blocks traffic on 101 Freeway

California Highway Patrol officials have a name for what they say was Tuesday's traffic-snarling publicity stunt by an Orange County-based band: unlawful assembly.

Three people believed to be members of the band were arrested on suspicion of unlawful assembly -– and they may face more charges pending an investigation, a CHP official said.

The Twitter universe had some words for the Imperial Stars band too, because pretty much anything that makes traffic worse is enough to boil motorists' blood. Remember President Obama's fund-raising visit to Los Angeles?

One apparent aspiring actor, @wagsandbeaux, said he was en route to Van Nuys and missed the call time for his porn cameo.

Many just thought the stunt went too far. Here's a representative sample:
