Pistol-wielding man wearing Halloween mask robs Duarte fast-food restaurant

A man wearing a Halloween mask and carrying a pistol charged into an El Pollo Loco restaurant in Duarte and walked off with a large bundle of cash, police said Wednesday.

Authorities denied reports that four other robbers were involved and that one of them flashed a toy gun.

“There is no truth to that,” said Lt. Tom McNeal of the Temple City sheriff's station.

Police would not comment on reports that the robber wore a President Obama mask.

Julie Weeks, a spokeswoman for the Costa Mesa-based El Pollo Loco chain, said the restaurant is working closely with the police, but she would not comment on details of the robbery.

If the perp looked like Obama, he probably was not wearing a mask. After all, his regime has been robbing us since his election, along with his henchmen. Check the White House.

Was he wearing a chicken suit?
