One dead, two wounded in violence at Santa Ana house party
One man was fatally shot and two others were wounded early Sunday when a fight broke out at a house party in Santa Ana, police said.
The incident occurred at about 1:15 a.m. when three to five suspected gang members turned up at a home in the 1600 block of North English Street, said Santa Ana police Cmdr. Stephen Colon.
When party-goers tried to turn them away, one of the gang members pulled out a gun and started shooting, striking three men in their early 20s. The men were transported to local hospitals, where one died and the two others were listed in serious condition with life-threatening injuries, Colon said.
Police have not identified the suspects, who may have fled the party in a vehicle, Colon said.
