Man commits suicide by jumping off Disneyland parking structure

A man leapt to his death from one of the upper floors at the main parking structure at Disneyland, an Anaheim police spokesman said Monday.

The man, who was not immediately identified, was found around 8:45 p.m. Sunday at the Mickey & Friends Parking structure on Walnut Street and Magic Way, said Anaheim police spokesman Rick Martinez.

The man, who was believed to be in his 40s or early 50s, jumped from the southwest corner of the structure.

He did not have any identification on him but did leave a suicide note, Martinez said.

I feel very sorry for whomever found him. I hope hope hope it wasnt a family with children

My heart goes out to the family and friends of this poor man. May he rest in peace

If you have anxiety or feel overwhelmed, get help. Getting the right help is not a shameful thing. It's very neccesary like getting help for other things: broken bones, high blood pressure, diabetes, skin problems, cancer, etc.

Sad to see you go, but for the love of all children, why do it in Disneyland?

So sad to see a person end their life like this. If only someone could have helped this person - may he rest in peace. My heart goes out to his immediate family who will be wondering why???

Fantasy meets reality

i feel very sorry for this poor man. but it was kibnd of self centered to pick a family place to do it. well. suicide is always a cry for help and always trying to tell us something about the way we neglect people. stop the neglect folks.

I don't understand these public suicides. Nor do I understand killing others or putting others at risk.

Not the Happiest Place On Earth

Another case of choosing a permenant solution to a temporary problem.

Sometimes you just get SO sad. A pity he didn't give himself more time.

Seriously? So the guy drives up to the parking area(which as we all know always has a line) PAYS 15 dollars for parking, drives around all those orange cones, parks and then jumps?

My guess those escalators were down again..and he didn't feel like taking the stairs. DL isn't even open at that time.

Miccckkeeyyy where are youuuuu???
