Man, woman found dead at house in Hawthorne

A man and a woman were found dead Friday at a house in the 4100 block of West 142d Street, near Rosecrans Avenue, in Hawthorne, authorities said.

The bodies were discovered about 3:45 p.m., said Deputy Mark Pope of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details were available Friday night, Pope said.
