Accident snarls traffic on 210 Freeway in Azusa

At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle accident that has snarled eastbound traffic on the 210 Freeway in Azusa.

The accident was reported about 9:30 a.m. near Citrus Avenue and was blocking the middle lanes of the freeway, the California Highway Patrol said.

The CHP said a Fire Department helicopter was planning to land on the freeway to take the injured victim to a hospital. The condition of the victim was not known.

No other details were available.
