Quake hits Baja California
A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck the Baja California, Mexico, region Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Reports of injuries or damage were unknown. The light quake struck at 9:47 a.m. about 12 miles southeast of Lazaro Cardenas, according to the USGS website. The quake was felt as far as San Diego, Yuma, Ariz., and Phoenix.
