One killed in Paramount hit-and-run

Fatal

Los Angeles County sheriff's detectives are investigating a hit-and-run death early Monday in Paramount, officials said.

It's unclear how the 2:45 a.m. crash happened, and authorities were not releasing details about the accident at Garfield Avenue near the 105 Freeway overpass.

Witnesses told investigators three people fled one of the cars after the crash, said sheriff's Capt. Christy Guyovich. The motorist who died was in the other car, she said.

Authorities were trying to reach the family of the dead motorist, Guyovich said.

WT H happened

I Bet it had something to do with that stupid ass double traffic light they recently put on Howery Street. I can Almost Guarantee That light is gonna cause more problems in the future. The lights are so close together, that when you see the first green and look down, your at the next light , and it might be red. Im almost sure this is what happened here.

I hope they catch those idiots!!!
