Badly decomposed body found at recycling center near Chinatown

Los Angeles Police Department detectives on Saturday were trying to determine the identity of a body found wrapped in a plastic bag at a recycling center near Chinatown.
Officials said the body, which was badly decomposed, could be that of a woman in her 20s.
Homicide detectives from the LAPD's Central Division were sent to the scene in the 1000 block of North Main Street, in the Chinatown area less than two miles from Dodger Stadium, said Sgt. Mariano Moreno.
He said the police dispatcher’s radio call for a death investigation came in at 3:05 p.m. Friday.
There was no immediate information available on the woman's identity or cause of death.
Authorities said they would work with the private recycling firm to see whether there's a way they can track shipments into the facility.

By the looks of this place I'm surprised that they don't find another 3 or 4 bodies.

I had no idea that L.A. had so much crime had my friend not posted something on FB about L.A. being crime free for a weekend. Of course, that made me want to browse a little and came across this article. Things of this nature are unheard of in KY...well, maybe not where all the crazy people in the mountains live...kidding...But this is very sad...condolences to her family if and when she is identified...
