Two people slain in Rosemead

Click here for a Times database of Rosemead homicides. Homicide investigators were responding Monday night to a Rosemead home where two people were found slain.

The victims were described as a man and a woman in their 60s who were found in the home in the 4200 block of Arica Avenue, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

The department said it was unclear how the victims were killed. They were pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 9 p..m.

No other details were available.

Since January 2007, at least 15 homicides have been reported in Rosemead, according to a database compiled by The Times' Homicide Report.
