Killing of Mormon bishop in Visalia under investigation
Police in the Central Valley city of Visalia are investigating the shooting death of a Mormon bishop.
Clay Sannar, 42, was working at the church Sunday when a man approached him and shot him, according to wire service reports.
Police arrived at the scene soon afterward and exchanged gunfire with the shooter.
The gunman, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, according to the Associated Press.
The slain lay bishop was said to be a father of six boys and a manager at a local agricultural services business, according to the company’s website.

I wonder if the shooter was an avenging angel? The Morman's deni that they have them, but, secretly, they do and killing is done by them.
