7 people injured in San Fernando Valley crash

Seven people were injured, three of them critically, when a vehicle smashed into a pole Tuesday night in the San Fernando Valley, authorities said.

The accident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. in the 7300 block of North Louise Avenue in Lake Balboa, the Los Angeles Fire Department said. The names and ages of the victims were not released.

Investigators were at the scene trying to determine what happened. No other details were available.
