Zsa Zsa Gabor rushed to UCLA hospital after breaking bones

Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on Saturday after falling out of bed and breaking several bones, her publicist said.

http://www.latimes.com/includes/projects/hollywood/portraits/zsa_zsa_gabor.jpgGabor, 93, was watching television in her Bel-Air home late Saturday when she fell to the floor, according to publicist John Blanchette. Blanchette said he got a call from Gabor's husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, about 8 p.m. to say he had called an ambulance and taken Gabor to UCLA, where she was in serious condition.

“He said it was bad, she had broken several bones,” Blanchette said.

Gabor is partially paralyzed from a 2002 car accident, and Blanchette, who visited her in recent months, said she has been “pretty much bedridden and wheelchair-bound for the last eight years.”

“She’s fragile," he said, but "she’s still very bright -- she still makes me laugh. Her faculties are intact, but her body’s failing her.”
