Two men wounded in drive-by shooting in South L.A.
Two men were wounded in a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles late Saturday, police said.
The men were shot near 51st Place and Normandie Avenue at 8:52 p.m., said Los Angeles Police Lt. Peter Casey of the 77th Street Division.
Paramedics took one man to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the stomach, and the other was treated at the scene for a graze wound to his right arm, Casey said.
The lieutenant said the victims told investigators they were attacked by three men riding in a dark-colored Chrysler or Buick.
No one had been arrested in connection with the shooting late Saturday. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call investigators at (213) 485-4164.
