Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger assists former First Lady Nancy Reagan as they walk to a ceremonial bill signing for California SB 944 and AB 1911 at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley on July 28, 2010. SB 944 officially designates Feb. 6 of each year as Ronald Reagan Day in California. AB 1911, written by Assembly Republican Leader Martin Garrick, honors President Reagan for his life's accomplishments and his contributions to California, and it establishes the California Ronald Reagan Centennial Commission, which will be tasked with honoring and promoting the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Ronald Reagan's birthday on Feb. 6, 2011.
