Firefighters battling three blazes in L.A. County

Firefighters are tackling three blazes in Los Angeles County, including one on Soledad Canyon Road in Acton, said Matt Levesque of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

So far, the blaze has consumed a few acres since it was reported at 2:22 p.m. near 8334 Soledad Canyon Road. Fire officials say no structures are threatened at this point.

Firefighters were already tackling a 30-acre brush fire that broke out Thursday near the community of Fairmont, west of Lancaster, but no structures were threatened, a county fire inspector said.

The fire was reported about 1 p.m. near Lancaster Road and 215th Street West.

Los Angeles city firefighters are battling a 2 1/2-acre brush fire at 2580 N. Soto St. that was slowly climbing up the hills. It was reported about 2:25 p.m.

C'mon, this HAS to be someone who gets off lighting fires when it warms up. Too much of a coincidence otherwise.
