June 23, 2010 | 12:24 am
Two Sylmar sisters have been arrested on suspicion of running an illegal cosmetic surgery operation out of their home, police said Tuesday.

Guadalupe Viveros, 50, and Alejandra Viveros, 53, were booked this week on charges of running an unauthorized medical practice without a license, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The sisters were being held in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Police said the sisters injected cosmetic fillers into patients' faces and buttocks that hardened into solid plastic.
