Geezer Bandit strikes in 11th bank robbery

 Geezer Bandit

The bank robber dubbed the Geezer Bandit has struck for the 11th time --  this time in Riverside County, the FBI said Thursday.

The robber, given his nickname by the FBI because of his age, used a revolver Thursday to rob the Bank of America in Temecula, the agency said. He is suspected of robbing 10 other banks, all in San Diego County, since August.

Witnesses said the robber is 60 to 70 years old, 190 pounds, and 6 feet tall. The FBI and sheriff's departments in San Diego and Riverside counties are appealing for help from the public in finding him.

Eleven successful bank robberies caught on camera. You'd think by now all bank employees would be trained and able to recognize him as soon as he walked in the door?

This is ridiculous already. I'm surprised the banks don't have one of those bags that explode with dye when the robber opens it. Or you'd think that there would be some security officer stationed that would order the "geezer" to drop the gun or else. The thing is, he may very well be a paper tiger whose gun isn't even loaded and so he "bluffs" these banks into believing he's a big, bad dude with his gun.

Sounds like this man has a retirement plan.Live high on the hog. Then when it is time get caught and move into subsidized housing. I bet he makes to twenty banks before he gets caught.
