Renderings posted of planned Target store in Hollywood

Hollywood Target renderings: Curbed L.A. has posted some renderings of what a Target at Sunset Boulevard and Western Avenue would look like:

As for the details: It's a three-level store, there are two levels of parking, and the store is on top. The lower-level parking will have retail, too. There are a total of 458 parking spaces. The store will be 80 feet tall, much taller than what is usually allowed.

Anthony Bourdain on L.A. food: Fishbowl L.A. points out that Anthony Bourdain loves the "low-end ethnicky" food in L.A., but says we're lacking in the gourmet department:

He shared his thoughts on LA's food scene and said that while we didn't stack up with New York in the gourmet department, our "low-end ethnicky stuff" is second to none.

Top Chef visits Irvine: Top Chef stars Richard Blais and CJ Jacobson visited Irvine's Spectrum for a cooking show, the Orange County Register reports:

Visitors sampled dishes the chefs cooked up, received tips and received autographs from Blais and Jacobson.
