San Diego County man stung by bees dies

An Encinitas man died Wednesday afternoon after he was stung by bees, officials said.

The incident was reported shortly before 2 p.m., the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said. The man was stung in the 3700 block of Manchester Avenue.

His name and age had not been released.

No other details were available.
