Beverly Hills woman arrested at Ohio airport for allegedly carrying suitcases full of marijuana

Lisette_Lee A 28-year-old Beverly Hills woman has been arrested at an airport in Ohio for carrying more than 500 pounds of marijuana stuffed inside at least a dozen suitcases, authorities said Wednesday.

Lisette Lee had apparently chartered a private jet from Van Nuys Airport along with three companions, including a personal assistant and two bodyguards, said Richard Isaacson, special agent and spokesman for the Detroit division of the Drug Enforcement Administration. 

They were arrested Monday at the airport in Columbus.

Lee has been charged with conspiracy and possession with the intent to distribute. She is being held without bail pending a hearing Friday in Ohio.

The three others have been released.
