San Diego City Council calls for repeal of Arizona anti-illegal immigration law

May 4, 2010 | 10:04 am

By a 7-1 vote, the San Diego City Council has endorsed a resolution asking the governor of Arizona to repeal that state's controversial anti-illegal immigration law. The resolution does not call for a boycott of Arizona, as other critics have done.

Mayor Jerry Sanders indicated he will sign the resolution, passed Monday.
