Shooting outside hip-hop recording studio in South Los Angeles

A 32-year-old man was shot and wounded early Sunday outside a recording studio in the Central Alameda neighborhood of South Los Angeles, authorities said.

The victim was shot multiple times just after midnight while outside a recording studio for aspiring hip-hop artists in the 5000 block of South Central Avenue, Los Angeles Police Lt. Samuel Rhone said.

The victim was hit in the shoulder and the hip. He was taken to County-USC Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, Rhone said.

An investigation is ongoing. No other information was given.
