Gunshots reported at Hollywood's Musso & Frank Grill [Updated]

Police received a call Monday morning reporting gunshots at Hollywood’s famed Musso & Frank Grill, authorities said.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found an individual, believed to be an employee, inside the restaurant. That person was detained, though no evidence of shots being fired was found, said LAPD Officer T. Fields. An investigation was ongoing.

The detained individual was being questioned, but no charges had been filed, police said. [Updated at 10:20 a.m.: The LAPD said no gunman was found at the location].

The restaurant is on Hollywood Boulevard, near Las Palmas Avenue, and dates back to 1919.
