KCRW has made a "Good Food Restaurant Map" showing suggestions from regular "Good Food" contributors Gustavo Arellano, Eddie Lin and Jonathan Gold. Thanks to LAist for pointing out this handy tool.

Here are some other goings-on around Web L.A.:

Venice sculptures for sale: Yo! Venice! has a nice post about a pair of original Venice colonnade sculptures that are for sale -- commissioned by Abbot Kinney himself:

They were created in 1904 by Felix Peano, an Italian sculptor who was hired by Abbot Kinney to add artistic details to Venice of America. Inspired by the classic style of Rome and the vision of Abbot Kinney, Peano (who was from Parma, Italy) used the likeness of a local Venice girl named Nettie Bouck.

Mapping L.A. foreclosures: In other mapping news, Curbed L.A. reports on LA Hoodwinked -- a new website run by the City Workers Union that uses Google Maps to track foreclosed properties in Los Angeles. From Curbed L.A.:

According to Elizabeth Brennan, communications director for SEIU 721, LA Hoodwinked uses info purchased from Realty Trac. After LA Hoodwinked gets a complaint, it'll be passed on to the Building Department, [which] will send out building inspectors, and then ultimately the banks will be fined.

Metrolink cutting college discount: The Orange County Register reports that students are losing their 25% discount on Metrolink:

On June 30, 2010 the Metrolink College Discount Consignment Program will be discontinued. Educational institutions participating in the College Discount Program will no longer be able to order 25% discounted student monthly passes and 10-trip tickets.
