Four dead in single-vehicle car accident in Van Nuys

Crash

An LAPD officer inspects a Corvette that was involved in a single-car accident that killed four people in the early-morning hours Thursday. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Roscoe Boulevard just west of Hayvenhurst Avenue in Van Nuys when the accident occurred. The body of the driver is still inside the Corvette, and two passengers were thrown from the car before it crossed railroad tracks near the accident site. A fourth victim may have been a pedestrian, according to police.
