Former NFL player Corey Dillon arrested in Calabasas on suspicion of domestic violence

Former NFL running back Corey Dillon has been arrested and released on suspicion of assaulting his wife at their home in Calabasas, authorities said Monday.

Dillion and his wife, Desiree Antoine-Dillon, had been arguing Saturday over their pending divorce and child custody when she called 911, saying she had been assaulted by her husband, authorities said.

“She sustained minor injuries,” said Lt. Scott Chew of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department's Lost Hills station.

The former Cincinnati Bengals player, who won a Super Bowl championship while with the New England Patriots, was arrested last month on driving drunk charges in Malibu.
