Two victims identified in Corvette crash in Van Nuys
The L.A. County coroner's office has identified two of the four people killed when a Corvette sports car crashed near Van Nuys Airport.
Jorge Nunez Jr., 28, of Sylmar, and Jossue D. Colato, 23, of Pacoima, were among the four who died in Thursday's accident on Roscoe Boulevard, said L.A. County Coroner Investigator Christie McCracken.
The names of two women also killed have not been released.
Just after a midnight Thursday, a yellow 2007 Chevy Corvette traveling at high speed hit a guard rail on Roscoe Boulevard, according to police. The car skidded several hundred feet, crossed some railway tracks and came to rest upside down.
Investigators have not determined the cause of the accident, said LAPD spokesman Cleon Joseph.

OK, truly a terrible accident but how do you fit four adults in a Corvette? Not to take anything away from the tragedy of this accident.

Sad that their lives were cut so short.
